Why I Stopped Choosing Just One Medium
For years, I’ve struggled to answer a simple question: “What do you do?”
Depending on the day, I’m a photographer, filmmaker, musician, writer, drone pilot, editor, producer, or business owner.
The truth is I’ve never felt comfortable choosing just one.
This website exists because I finally stopped trying to.
As a multidisciplinary artist, I’ve always found it difficult to limit myself to a single medium. For years, most of what I shared publicly revolved around photography and video. Those disciplines became the foundation of my career, but they never represented the full scope of my creative interests.
Ten years ago, as a young professional, establishing myself in the industry was my priority. Over time, however, I realized that creative growth doesn’t come solely from professional work. Personal projects, experimentation, and curiosity are just as important.
That’s why I decided to reimagine this website as a collection of my creative work—a place where photography, video, music, writing, and future projects can exist together. Some of it is personal. Some of it is professional. All of it is part of who I am as a creator.
You’ll still find links to my commercial work and professional projects throughout the site. Creating is still what I do for a living, whether through my full-time role in media production, commercial client work, or personal creative projects. But the focus here is broader than a résumé or portfolio. It’s a space to share the things I create, the places I explore, the stories I write, and the ideas that keep me curious.
If you’d like to follow along, connect with me on social media. I’ll be sharing new creative projects as they happen.
